About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First-Line Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to support the Everett Delivery Center (EDC) Shipside Support Team/LSCC (Line Side Control Center) in Everett, Washington. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Requirements

  • This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.” Do you meet this requirement?
  • 3+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
  • 1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
  • Must be adaptable and able to execute with urgency
  • Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles
