We're looking for an Operations Support Manager to oversee our warehouse, fleet, equipment, tools, inventory, and facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring our technicians have the resources they need to deliver outstanding service every day. As the Warehouse & Asset Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations that support our restoration and reconstruction teams, including: Warehouse Operations, Fleet Management, Equipment & Tool Management, Inventory & Purchasing, Facilities & Logistics, and Leadership & Coordination. This position supervises one Warehouse Technician and coordinates warehouse operations across the company. While Restoration Technicians report to their department managers, this role provides direction to technicians while they are in the warehouse by coordinating equipment returns and cleaning, assigning warehouse tasks and daily priorities, ensuring vehicles are stocked and job-ready, managing tool accountability, maintaining warehouse organization and operational standards, and supporting efficient loading and unloading of vehicles.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, fleet, or operations management
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience managing inventory and company assets
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Restoration or construction industry experience
  • OSHA knowledge
  • Experience with inventory management or CMMS software
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation of our 44,000-square-foot warehouse
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient work environment
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, equipment staging, and material storage
  • Improve warehouse organization and operational efficiency
  • Ensure technicians can quickly access the equipment and materials they need
  • Oversee approximately 40 company vehicles
  • Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs for vehicles
  • Coordinate vehicle registrations, licensing, inspections, and DOT compliance
  • Track vehicle maintenance records, fuel usage, and conditions
  • Work with repair vendors to minimize vehicle downtime
  • Maintain restoration equipment and company tools
  • Develop preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and tools
  • Coordinate equipment and tool repairs and warranty claims
  • Assign tools and equipment to employees
  • Track tool accountability and replacement needs
  • Ensure equipment is clean, tested, and ready for deployment
  • Maintain inventory levels for equipment, PPE, tools, chemicals, building materials, and warehouse supplies
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage
  • Order supplies and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Recommend cost-saving purchasing opportunities
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs
  • Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and security systems
  • Manage warehouse improvements and contractor relationships
  • Coordinate movement of equipment, trailers, and materials
  • Support emergency response mobilizations and special projects
  • Supervise one Warehouse Technician
  • Coordinate warehouse operations across the company
  • Provide direction to technicians while they are in the warehouse
  • Coordinate equipment returns and cleaning
  • Assign warehouse tasks and daily priorities
