About The Position

Works closely with GML Operations, Hardware, IT, and Software teams to support smooth daily operations and high-quality data product delivery. The role executes defined tasks and projects with moderate supervision, contributes to incremental process improvements, escalates complex technical or operational issues, and impacts team-level efficiency and data quality.

Requirements

B.S. or B.A. degree; a technical or scientific field is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience working across teams in a technical or operational environment.
Experience supporting project planning and execution.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel as required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in oil and gas or industrial technology environments.
Familiarity with GIS tools such as Google Earth, QGIS, or ArcGIS.
Experience with ticketing systems and documentation tools.
Basic coding experience in Python, MATLAB, or SQL.
Experience handling structured data formats such as .csv and .kml/.kmz.

Responsibilities

Support operations project logistics, subcontractor coordination, and data acquisition activities.
Perform quality assurance checks on GML reports and data products.
Conduct first-level troubleshooting of sensors, systems, and data products.
Document root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Interface with data acquisition software and hardware systems.
Assist with sensor construction, maintenance, and qualification in lab and/or field settings.
Support quality control activities, including hardware inspection and shipping coordination.
Contribute to process documentation and lessons learned.
Monitor subcontractor deployments and report findings to senior staff.
Work non-standard schedules as needed to support 7-day operations.
