About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Portable Sanitation Operations Supervisor to join our waste and recycling management team! Coastal Waste & Recycling is a growing privately owned, locally operated solid waste disposal and recycling company headquartered out of Boca Raton, Florida serving communities across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina (and more to come)! As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily portable toilet operations, including route execution, team performance, equipment readiness, and customer service. This role is hands-on and requires a leader who can effectively manage both people and field operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as an operations supervisor, preferably in the waste management or transportation industry
• Strong knowledge of waste management practices and regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in using operational management software and other relevant computer applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of portable toilet service routes
• Lead and manage a team of drivers/service technicians
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Allocate resources (people and equipment) to meet service demands
• Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement
• Partner with the District Manager on budget and P&L performance
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure timely service recovery
• Maintain service logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentation
• Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce company safety standards
• Oversee maintenance and readiness of trucks, pumps, and portable units
