Operations Supervisor- Day Shift
About The Position
We are looking for an Operations Supervisor- Day Shift who will report to the Design Delivery Center Leader to contribute towards managing the daily work processes, procedures, volumes, and deadlines. This role involves monitoring departments daily, identifying and reporting on inefficiencies and successes. The supervisor will ensure compliance with OSHA standards, including maintaining safe working environments, and be responsible for adherence to contractual SLA & OLA standards, escalating any potential deviations with appropriate documentation. Additionally, the role requires tracking all statement holds, reruns, respools, releases, and any other special instructions to ensure the correct mailing of products associated with the Production Facility. A key responsibility is to coach and provide performance management to a team of 20+ team members.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of production leadership experience, at a supervisor or lead level with print and mail expertise.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring quick assessment and decision-making.
- Ability to manage workloads to meet contractual Service Level Agreements and OLAs.
- Dependability and openness to working a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (6 AM - 6 PM), including some weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to stand/walk for 95% of the shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift materials between 25-50 lbs on a frequent basis.
- Proficiency in English in a business environment.
