About The Position

Valliant Consulting Group is seeking an Operations Specialist to serve as the engine that keeps their organization running smoothly and effectively. This role is crucial for meeting internal, operational needs so that consultants can deliver exceptional services to clients. The responsibilities include invoicing, bookkeeping, payroll processing, website maintenance, arranging travel, compiling and analyzing data and reports, and responding to a broad range of administrative demands. A successful individual will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, dedication to excellence, and a commitment to serving the team and the client base. This is an overtime-eligible position, paid $25-$30 per hour, with an estimated workload of 30-40 hours per week. The position requires working approximately half-time in the Albuquerque office, with the remaining time being remote.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • Five (5) years of job-related experience in operations, bookkeeping, and/or administrative support
  • Experience in a small business setting is ideal
  • Ability to perform work independently, prioritize workloads and meet deadlines in a primarily remote environment
  • Strong team orientation with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to support team members in accomplishing tasks
  • Open and collaborative communication style
  • Demonstrated skill in managing administrative details with a high degree of quality
  • Ability to review reports and datasets for accuracy, consistency and grammatical correctness with a strong eye for detail
  • Illustrated customer service experience and the ability to represent the organization with the utmost professionalism
  • Experience adapting to shifting priorities, timelines and deadlines
  • Commitment to delivering the highest level of quality service to our clients and to contributing to a cohesive, collaborative team
  • Demonstrated knowledge in bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll processing, and other operational and administrative support functions
  • Ability to navigate and utilize databases, accounting systems (i.e., Sage 50) and Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access to enter, process, and verify data
