About The Position

The Operations Specialist works closely with frontline teams to ensure vehicles meet Flexcar quality standards and are customer-ready. This role primarily operates outdoors at a market location and requires strong attention to detail, technology usage, and operational coordination. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation under California law, including: Overtime for hours worked over 8 in a workday Double time for hours worked over 12 in a workday Overtime premiums for qualifying seventh consecutive workdays

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry tools and materials up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Comfort using smartphone and technology platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and detail a high volume of vehicles to meet company standards
  • Assess vehicle quality and document damage using company technology
  • Complete readiness, return, and infleet inspections
  • Take high-quality vehicle photos for website display
  • Conduct daily inventory scans and assist with reconciliation
  • Organize and manage vehicle inventory and parking areas
  • Communicate with team members using company-issued smart devices
  • Assist with customer vehicle deliveries as needed
  • Maintain Flexcar facilities and property
  • Manage assigned projects and tasks as business needs dictate
  • Safeguard vehicles, company property, and customer information
  • Comply with Cal/OSHA safety requirements and environmental standards
  • Accurately complete timekeeping records
