About The Position

The Operations Specialist supports complex, high-risk operational functions by managing specialized accounts, supporting offsite team members, and serving as a subject matter expert for escalations and legal inquiries. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, regulatory awareness, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations involving attorneys, trustees, and internal partners. The specialist also contributes to training, procedural development, and continuous operational improvement.

Subject matter expertise in areas such as Claim Filing, TOA, NDC, Amendments, Withdrawals, Redactions within a Bankruptcy team.
Experience working with Compliance, QA, IT, and Development departments.

Responsibilities

Support and provide guidance to offsite team members, ensuring adherence to operational standards, procedures, and performance expectations.
Manage specialized serviced and non-serviced accounts requiring advanced review, judgment, and resolution.
Handle specialized and complex accounts that require partnership with Finance and other internal departments to ensure accurate, compliant outcomes.
Serve as a subject matter expert for high-complexity scenarios, including bankruptcy and legally sensitive situations.
Handle escalated calls and issues as needed, providing timely, professional resolution.
Respond to and manage attorney inquiries, ensuring clear, accurate, and compliant communication.
Conduct specialized inbound and outbound communications with Attorneys and Trustees to resolve account-related matters.
Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Provide support and clarification on complex operational situations requiring coordination across teams or advanced decision-making.
Ensure all actions, decisions, and communications comply with regulatory, legal, and internal policy requirements.
Become a SME within the Bankruptcy team such as Claim Filing, TOA, NDC, Amendments, Withdrawals, Redactions etc.
Work cross functionally support the business needs with the following departments Compliance, QA, IT and Development.
