About The Position

DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash that explores robotics and automation to transform last-mile logistics. This role involves supporting daily ground operations for drone deliveries, including picking up orders from merchants, preparing them for delivery, and representing the program professionally in the community. The position offers an opportunity to learn about autonomous drone technology and contribute to shaping a cutting-edge delivery service.

Requirements

Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license, as the role requires traveling to merchant locations to pick up orders.

Responsibilities

Support daily ground operations to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient drone deliveries.
Pick up orders from merchants and prepare them carefully for delivery.
Share feedback and ideas to help improve processes and strengthen reliability.
Be a visible, professional presence in the community—answering questions and helping build awareness and trust in drone delivery.
Stay adaptable and dependable in a fast-moving environment.
Work closely with teammates to keep operations running smoothly.
Communicate clearly and support a team culture built on accountability and respect.
Build positive relationships with merchants and local partners.
Represent the program with professionalism in every interaction.
