About The Position

An integral member of the Station Management Team, providing Management of the Operations department. Whilst maintaining safe, flexible and reliable plant, deliver ongoing continuous improvements to maximise the potential of the Station within the HC&G UK portfolio. This role will also require effective management of resources to deliver operational & business requirements. Direct Line Management of 5 staff members, indirect line management of a further 10 staff. Responsible for the safe and reliable operation of King’s Lynn Power Station including managing the relationship with CAO. Delivery of the Site OGSM Objectives. Lead on Operational Excellence Implementation in key areas.

Requirements

• Management experience with the ability to operate as a member of the Station Management team
• Good management skills to operate a strong team based environment
• A holder of an appropriate qualification in relevant leadership / management or engineering discipline
• Membership of a relevant professional body
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with constantly changing priorities
• Attention to detail, combined with a methodical, innovative, numerate, analytical and well-organised approach
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, regulations and directives
