Operations Scaling

ForusNew York, NY

About The Position

As a key member of Forus' Operations team, you’ll be responsible for the execution, performance, and continuous improvement of a core part of our business. You’ll lead a frontline team, own measurable outcomes, and work closely with engineering to optimize workflows and implement automation — including AI-powered tools — that scale our impact. This role is central to ensuring every patient and provider we support experiences fast, reliable, and high-quality service. You’ll combine analytical problem-solving with hands-on execution to deliver operational excellence, while continuously improving systems and processes as we grow. This is a high-ownership role that blends strategic thinking with execution intensity. You’ll have autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to shape how Forus delivers at scale. If you are low-ego, data-driven, and energized by building systems that make complex operations run beautifully — we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • 2–8 years of experience in operations, consulting, finance, or another analytical, outcome-oriented environment (startup experience a plus)
  • Proven track record of owning metrics and driving measurable improvement across operational functions
  • Experience building or managing high-performing teams and scaling workflows
  • Strong analytical and technical fluency — comfort working with data; bonus for SQL, automation tools, or AI-driven systems
  • A bias for action: you move fast, simplify complexity, and find leverage through systems and tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a reputation for being a high-NPS teammate
  • A mindset of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement

  • Use data to drive insights and decisions — identifying gaps, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions that improve performance and efficiency
  • Partner closely with engineering to design, test, and roll out automation and workflow improvements (including AI-powered tools and low/no-code prototypes)
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for patients and providers through operational rigor and empathy
  • Collaborate with leadership to inform strategy, forecast capacity, and shape how Forus scales intelligently over time
