Operations Research Analyst
About The Position
The Operations Research Analyst position at Guidehouse involves assisting with modeling and simulation for base resiliency and wargaming, and supporting the development of optimization models for resource allocation. Key responsibilities include preparing visualizations and dashboards for leadership, gathering and cleaning data for analysis, and participating in wargame capstone events. The role also entails documenting methodologies, maintaining analysis tools, assisting in risk analysis, and supporting the integration of simulation outputs into enterprise models. Collaboration with senior analysts on experiment design and providing administrative support for analytics projects are also part of the job. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance and possess a Bachelor's degree in Operations Research or a STEM field.
Requirements
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research or STEM field.
- Experience with Excel and willingness to learn simulation tools.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

- Exposure to Python or R for analytics.
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI dashboards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
