About The Position

Conduct comprehensive baseline assessments of industrial capabilities by analyzing production data, maintenance metrics, and operational risks. Gather, clean, and prepare data from various sources to populate and validate a prioritization tool and analytical models. Help develop a data dictionary, database schemas, and API specifications to ensure the tool is scalable and ready for future expansion. Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and subject matter experts to create a robust, scalable, and defensible system for decision support. Document technical specifications, methodologies, and architectural workflows for the prioritization framework and tool.

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or another relevant STEM field.
  • Minimum THREE (3) years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in developing and applying quantitative models, decision support tools, or BCA methodologies.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and willingness to learn new software platforms and tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, including defining requirements for configurable software.
  • Experience developing or working with database schemas and API specifications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with an ability to adapt to new challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting complex technical concepts and presenting findings.
  • Interest in AI/ML applications, optimization, and simulation for industrial processes.
