The Operations Program Associate Director leads the Operations Program Management (OPM) team acting as the “voice of Operations” to all internal and external stakeholders, responsible for the industrialization of their engine programs during its life cycle (NPI and Legacy). While being a key member of the PMMT / PMT, you will work directly with the Engineering, Producers, Supply Management, MED, A&T, Partners, OEMs, Quality, Aftermarket, and other key stakeholders to drive program deliverables on safety, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction and EH&S. You will also be responsible for specific program deliverables such as advance sourcing, manufacturing readiness, configuration, cost, producibility or customer synchronization of engine programs. The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or another related field.
  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering.
  • Practical knowledge of relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Project, and PowerPoint) and MS Project.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent situations.
  • Natural ability to lead and influence within a cross-functional matrix organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly dynamic business environment.
  • Ability to make quick decisions, even in uncertain situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Basic knowledge of English to understand specialized work instructions, drawings, and technical terms that may originate from international organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management training or equivalent; PMP certification or MBA is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison with Senior P&WC Executives in all sectors of the business.
  • Manage the industrialization schedule and financials of the program.
  • Manage project Development Hardware by driving strategic sourcing, cost, manufacturing capacity and producibility.
  • Manage configuration incorporation into the Production Bill of Material and engines.
  • Monitor and analyze project resource requirements.
  • Provides the PMMT / PMT with the industrialization scorecard of the program.
  • Interact with all levels of management and staff within programs and projects, as well as other functional organizations, including contracts, finance, and procurement, as necessary to resolve problems and provide accurate, timely, user-friendly reports on program and project status.
  • Interface with Program Managers regarding any potential baseline variances on schedule and cost, trends and cash flow, support mitigation planning where appropriate and assist in finding solutions.
