The Operations Program Coordinator will be a key member of the Operations team, overseeing business functions that support a multi-building data center campus. This role requires a broad understanding of vendor management, operational budgets, business improvement processes, compliance programs, and implementing business directives. Experience in data centers, corporate real estate, or critical infrastructure, particularly in managing third-party contracts for maintenance and operations, is essential. The Coordinator will report to the Director of Site Operations and provide daily assistance to Critical Facilities Managers, focusing on minimizing delays in maintenance and repair activities, work order processing, managing spare parts, and optimizing resource efficiency. Basic project management skills are also required to ensure team alignment with corporate strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in an industry that includes operations & maintenance
  • Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Method of Procedures (MOPs), and their application to work orders
  • Experience working with enterprise asset management and maintenance management software
  • Experience in collaborating and influencing teams to execute coordinated plans and activities
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Proficient with computer systems including email, documents, spreadsheets, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with OpEx/CapEx budgeting process

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification or similar
  • 3+ years’ experience in a critical operations environment
  • Experience scheduling and planning maintenance for large-scale, complex systems in an operations environment
  • Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and overseeing administration of OpEx and CapEx budgets in coordination with Finance and Operations teams, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational requirements.
  • Support and collaboration with Finance and Procurement regarding new vendor submissions, RFPs, PRs/POs, service agreements, COI verification, invoice validation, smart hands and utility charges.
  • Support Director of Site Operations and Critical Facilities Managers with administration of all compliance and regulatory programs.
  • Support and advise the implementation of business and operational standards to ensure compliance with SDC policies, procedures, and performance criteria.
  • Collaborate with site teams, Finance, Procurement, and vendors to manage spare parts and consumables inventory.
  • Support onboarding programs as well as assist in training new and existing staff.
  • Develop cross-functional relationships to enhance operations and support internal and external audits.
  • Develop reports utilizing data and metrics for campus budgets, vendor management, and organizational health for local leadership teams.
  • Support construction and project activities including but not limited to asset collection and documentation management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on CMMS oversight ensuring accurate tracking, reporting of KPIs for monthly reports, and software upgrades.
  • Maintain the local SharePoint pages ensuring transparency and consistency with SDC national standards.
  • Provide occasional operational support including after-hours escalation support, and maintenance activities.
  • Occasional travel for business related needs.
