Operations at Goal: How This Role Fits In: Our Operations team ensures loan servicing work is processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. As an Operations Processor, you’ll support daily servicing operations by processing transactions, researching account issues, maintaining documentation, and partnering with internal teams and vendors to keep work moving.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, banking, finance, insurance, mortgage, or a related field.
  • Experience with transaction processing, account research, or loan servicing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures accurately and consistently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a metrics-driven environment where quality and productivity both matter.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, banking, finance, insurance, mortgage, or a related field.
  • Experience with transaction processing, account research, or loan servicing.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and time-sensitive workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to follow documented Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Clear, concise, and professional communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Consumer lending or student loan servicing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or servicing platforms, including Salesforce.
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
  • Experience with payment processing, reconciliation, account maintenance, or dispute resolution.
  • Experience meeting productivity, quality, service-level, or performance goals.

Responsibilities

  • Process loan servicing activity while ensuring transactions, account updates, documentation, and issue resolution are completed accurately and in accordance with established procedures, compliance requirements, and service expectations.
  • Process servicing activity accurately and efficiently.
  • Research and resolve account discrepancies, payment issues, and disputes.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Support timely resolution of borrower, client, and operational issues.
  • Help maintain strong operational performance and client trust.
  • Process loan servicing transactions, including UCC filings, transfers, account updates, and other servicing activities.
  • Handle payments, refunds, adjustments, and reconciliation with a high level of accuracy.
  • Research account information across multiple servicing platforms and internal systems.
  • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, disputes, and servicing issues.
  • Maintain clear and complete documentation of account activity.
  • Track documents and other servicing requirements through completion.
  • Partner with internal teams, vendors, clients, and borrowers to complete time-sensitive work.
  • Perform data entry and administrative servicing tasks.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and documented Best Practices.
  • Meet established quality, productivity, and service-level expectations.
  • Maintain a high degree of awareness around information security and data privacy.
  • Adhere to all compliance, regulatory, client-specific, and operational guidelines.
