About The Position

Our Client is seeking an Operations Processor (Orders) to accurately create, process, and maintain customer contracts, purchase orders, and sales orders in support of daily business operations. In this role, you ensure that all orders are processed efficiently and on time, documentation is complete and accurate, and communication with internal teams and customers is professional and responsive. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities with ease, and consistently deliver a high level of accuracy and customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry with a strong focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel, including data entry and basic spreadsheet use.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook for email communication.
  • Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for numerical data entry.
  • Experience with invoice processing and accounts payable activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with customers and internal teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in order processing, contract administration, or similar operations roles is beneficial.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Accounting.
  • Comfort using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams for internal communication.
  • Ability to analyze discrepancies in orders or documentation and recommend effective resolutions.
  • Motivation to participate in working interviews to directly showcase skills and experience.
  • Willingness to complete the Predictive Index (PI) assessment as part of the selection process.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and issue customer contracts in accordance with established company procedures.
  • Accurately create and process Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders (SOs) in the designated systems.
  • Review orders and contracts for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before processing.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records of all contracts, purchase orders, and sales orders.
  • Process order revisions, updates, cancellations, and corrections as needed throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Ensure all assigned daily tasks are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments via email, Microsoft Teams, and telephone.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Logistics, Accounting, and other departments to resolve order-related issues.
  • Identify discrepancies in orders or documentation, investigate root causes, and implement appropriate solutions while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and system records at every stage of the order lifecycle.
  • Prioritize multiple assignments while consistently meeting productivity and accuracy expectations.
  • Perform additional operational or administrative duties as assigned to support the broader team and business needs.
