About The Position

Cassia is a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that provides healthcare and housing for aging adults. Our senior care campuses are in MN, ND, IA, CO, and FL. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college student to join our Operations team as a Part-Time Continuous Improvement Assistant. In this role, you will support organization-wide process improvement initiatives by assisting with project coordination, data management, meeting preparation, and administrative support. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project coordination, operational improvement, and healthcare administration while making a meaningful impact across the organization. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working with Microsoft Office applications to support a variety of projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • University of St. Thomas Student
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive, proactive, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
  • Applicants for this position must qualify for Federal or State Work Study.

Responsibilities

  • Support continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Maintain project plans, action-item trackers, and other project documentation.
  • Assist with data collection, tracking, and reporting.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, materials, minutes, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with survey administration and summarize feedback results.
  • Create presentations, communications, reports, and other visual materials using Microsoft Office.
  • Provide administrative support for Continuous Improvement programs and initiatives.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating on-site meetings, trainings, and events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
