About The Position

Fusion is seeking an Operations and Plans Specialist IV with an active TS/SCI to lead planning and execution support for special events, executive travel, and contingency operations. This role develops operational orders, execution products, briefings, and program materials, while coordinating closely with mission partners and supporting event execution in dynamic environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in emergency management, security studies, military science, public administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in military planning, emergency preparedness, contingency operations, or executive event planning.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and coordinating complex, large-scale events or operations involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong experience drafting operational documentation, briefing packages, and action-oriented planning products.
  • Experience supporting senior government or military personnel in classified mission environments.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to manage controlled distribution of sensitive materials.
  • Candidates must have an active TS to be considered.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain SCI access and SAP eligibility/indoctrination as required for assigned duties.

  • Experience serving as a lead planner for special events, executive travel, or high-visibility operational activities.
  • Background supporting access management, notification systems, or classified administrative records.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development, coordination, and distribution of warning orders, operations orders, fragmentary orders, execution checklists, and executive trip products.
  • Support planning and execution of special events and other operational activities, including meetings, timelines, schedules, and status reporting.
  • Prepare and brief presentations, meeting materials, minutes, and after-action products for operational planning forums.
  • Lead management support for liaison officer and trip support programs, including training materials, qualification checklists, and program coordination.
  • Maintain standardized briefing materials and program products used for senior leader briefings and mission partner coordination.
  • Review, update, coordinate, and distribute facility access rosters and critical notification documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with administrative maintenance of classified holdings, security-related records, and operational documentation.
  • May perform additional mission-aligned duties as required to support program objectives.
