About The Position

Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking an entry-level Logistics Plans and Operations Integrator for a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC), Logistics (G4) for facilities, engineering and sustainment, and environmental planning and compliance. This Logistics Plans and Operations Integrator will assist in the planning, coordination, and evaluation of logistics programs to support SMDC operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3+ Years demonstrated/practical experience.
  • Knowledge of SMDC logistical organizations, capabilities, mission analysis and the range of current SMDC level operational plans.
  • Knowledge is applied in the research, development, and exercise of logistical contingency plans.
  • Knowledge of and ability to conduct studies to assess and analyze the nature and status of issues or problems within the areas of supply and services and maintenance.
  • Oral communicative skills must be sufficient to brief the G-4, Command Group or other organizations and individuals.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must have a Secret Clearance to start.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance/SCI eligibility.
  • Ability to work outside normal work hours at short notice as dictated by workload.
  • Ability to work away from primary work location more than normal workday.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Prior experience supporting supply, maintenance, transportation, or distribution management operations.

Responsibilities

  • Performs logistics management functions that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistical actions required to support specified missions or programs.
  • Formulates logistical plans, operations, and procedures in support of SMDC Operations.
  • Investigates, coordinates, and recommends resolutions of SMDC logistics problems and deficiencies.
  • Ensures execution of plans and operations with responsibility for integration of emphasis in the areas of supply, transportation, Intermediate Logistics Support, and maintenance programs.
  • Advises supervisor in plans formulation to implement SMDC logistics requirements.
  • The work involves projects that require analysis of interrelated issues concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of logistical programs.
  • The work involves investigating and analyzing a variety of difficult logistics problems, or conditions associated with issues or problems about logistics operations.
  • The results of the work provide solutions to logistics problems at various echelons and locations.
  • Others duties as assigned.
