About The Position

Fusion is seeking a Mid-Level Operations and Plans Specialist to support event planning, operational coordination, and mission documentation for a high-security federal program. This role assists with planning products, roster management, briefing updates, and on-site event support while building depth in contingency planning and operational execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience in operations, planning, executive support, or military environments may be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in emergency preparedness, operations coordination, military planning support, or readiness program implementation.
  • Strong writing and organizational skills with the ability to produce accurate tasking and briefing materials.
  • Experience supporting senior government or military personnel and working within secure facilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and document control processes for sensitive information.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Candidates must have an active TS to be considered.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain SCI access and SAP eligibility/indoctrination as required for assigned duties.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting special events, executive travel, or mission support coordination.
  • Background in roster management, access coordination, or action-tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting and coordinating warning orders, operations orders, execution checklists, executive trip products, and other operational planning documents.
  • Support planning meetings by preparing briefs, agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up coordination items.
  • Help manage liaison, trip support, and standardized briefing materials used for recurring mission activities.
  • Assist with roster maintenance, access list updates, and distribution control for sensitive operational documentation.
  • Support event execution by monitoring schedules, coordinating designated activities, and providing status updates as directed.
  • Maintain administrative records related to training documentation, classified holdings, and operational files.
  • May perform additional mission-aligned duties as required to support program objectives.
