About The Position

Provide timely, efficient service to internal customers for lending technology systems, guidance on lending policies/procedures, business process workflows, and business analysis for business and retail lending operations. Research, analyze, and contribute business knowledge and assist with design, development, implementation, support, and enhancement of business processes, technology systems and training curriculum. Leads, delivers, and executes role-based onboarding, systems and/or technical training initiatives for Capital Farm Credit employees. Able to work in a team environment to accomplish team goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, and/or Agriculture Economics, or a related field, or three (3) to five (5) years related experience as a Loan Administrator, Relationship Manager, Credit Analyst, or commensurate experience within the Association.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Association products, services, assigned market segment and territory, and Association accounting systems.
  • Solid understanding of the Association’s business systems, processes, workflows, products, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to support business users with input and guidance.
  • Solid ability to contribute business knowledge to design, develop, implement, support, and enhance multiple lending technology.
  • Ability to work independently and provide leadership in supporting business users.
  • Ability to handle multiple, complex lending technology systems.
  • Skills in building business relationships, verbal, and written communications; decision making; and creative problem solving.
  • General management as applied to office operations, organizing, coaching, counseling, developing, and motivating others.
  • Office systems and equipment used for file management & file classification practices and retrieval of business information.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill levels in Microsoft Office applications and loan management systems.
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor in-person and with oral and written correspondence.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill in organization, time management practices, critical thinking, and analysis.
  • Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and on-going commitment to achieving optimal results. Ability to work in a collaborative environment and dynamic team setting.
  • Effectively presents moderately complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Works with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Under direction and oversight, has intermediate knowledge and supports the coordination of loan administration, lending, and credit processes as outlined in the Association policies and procedures.
  • Documents testing issues for resolution as system solutions are developed and reviewed.
  • Provides user acceptance testing of continuous delivery efforts in coordination with Association business owners and designees.
  • Intermediate knowledge of required procedures, policies, processes, and regulations with an ability to research and apply them with some oversight.
  • Demonstrates intermediate knowledge of, and ability to use, Association programs and systems used in lending, credit, or loan administration.
  • Engages in active troubleshooting and problem-solving regarding; systems, credit policies/processes, and retail/consumer operations. This requires critical thinking with a solid understanding of Association’s internal and external business systems processes, workflows, products, credit philosophy, policies, and procedures.
  • First point of contact for internal business user support on business systems, policies/procedures, and processes serving as a specialized resource that clearly communicates solutions.
  • Escalates items from internal business user support on business systems, policies/procedures, and processes serving as a specialized resource that clearly communicates issues and participates in business analysis for solutions.
  • Participates in or facilitates business analysis to perform root cause analysis and identify potential options for solutions and improvements.
  • Participates in or leads various projects and initiatives that impact the loan origination and credit delivery processes and operations.
  • Develops subject matter expertise in loan origination and credit delivery processes and operations.
  • Facilitate instructor-led training (ILT) or virtual instructor-led training (vILT) for new hire onboarding, as well as continuing education for existing employees in new processes, procedures, and system upgrades. Facilitates group or one-on-one training.
  • Assess current training programs, courses, and materials to provide feedback for improvement.
  • Assess new and ongoing training needs, partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Learning & Development (L&D) to develop and implement content.
  • Intermediate understanding of workflow, systems, applications, policies, and procedures related to the Loan Administrator, Relationship Manager, and Credit Analyst roles.
  • Intermediate understanding of current Association practices related to the Loan Administrator, Relationship Manager, and Credit Analyst roles.
