About The Position

The Operations Officer (Judicial) is responsible for performing computer data entry duties relative to confidential information, answering phones and performing all other related and varied clerical and office functions. Must also assist the general public, attorneys, police and school departments relevant to safety concerns within the courthouse and schools; monitor hallways to address abusive litigants. This position may also be required to perform home visits when necessary; may be required to perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the Chief Judge and/or Family Court Chief of Staff. This position is part-time. Salary is based upon a 21 hour work week.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school, including or supplemented by courses in criminal justice
  • Experience such as may have been gained through employment with a law enforcement background
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to the above requirements
