About The Position

As an Operations Manager, you will lead day-to-day hauling, landfill, metal yard, MRF, and toilet service operations while developing your leadership team and driving performance across safety, service, and profitability.

Requirements

5+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, people-heavy environment
Proven ability to manage large teams and shifting priorities
Experience with operations, logistics, or field-based teams
Exposure to budgeting or P&L management
Strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
Proficient in Excel and business systems
Willingness to relocate for advancement opportunities

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise hourly employees and frontline supervisors at our hauling site, landfill, metal yard, MRF, and portable toilet service.
Monitor routes and staffing; adjust resources in real time to meet service demands
Partner with the Site Manager on budgeting and P&L performance
Coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of frontline leaders
Assist in creating/managing policies and procedures
Conduct field inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance and best practices
Handle and resolve customer escalations with professionalism and urgency
Oversee environmental, OSHA, and local regulatory compliance
Set and execute short- and long-term operational goals
Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
