An opportunity has arisen for a Defense Operations Manager in the Defense executive office, reporting to the Defense Chief of Staff. Requirements

  • Associate degree and 7+ years of experience in business, project management or communications, OR Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in business, project management or communications, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in business, project management or communications, OR JD/PhD, OR 9+ years of experience in business, project management or communications in lieu of a degree
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • 5+ years of experience in the Defense business
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills: requires an individual who can work collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional teams, building strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to leverage their expertise to achieve business objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: requires an individual who has excellent oral and written communication skills overall, with a particular ability to interact and communicate with executives, leadership, and individuals at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficiency to the President/CEO and Leadership team by organizing and executing Defense governance, supporting the DLT’s implementation and execution of governance, and implementing standard diaries.
  • Lead/support special projects aligned to Defense’s objectives, to include supporting Business Reviews and VIP visits
  • Developing executive level quality presentations and papers to inform senior leadership and support decision-making
  • Contribute to optimizing the flow of information, governance, and decision making to enable Defense to achieve its objectives.
  • Serve as a back-up to the President of Defense/CEO of RRNA’s Chief of Staff and executive assistant on an as-needed basis
