The Operations Manager will be responsible for directing company programs and implementing company policy to ensure total compliance with contract duties between company and customer. This role involves planning and developing work schedules, preparing service personnel schedules, assigning personnel to routes, and inspecting the physical condition of establishments for program compliance (safety, quality, service). The manager will also conduct quality audits, maintain inventories, investigate new equipment and methods, and review customer service requests. They will implement organization policies, analyze budget requests, and assist in promoting services to develop new markets. Additionally, the role involves inspecting plant facilities, assisting with modifications, ensuring budget goals are met, and developing long-range plans. Coordination of program specifications, proposal requirements, and contract documents is also a key responsibility, along with compiling data for estimates and reporting on financial aspects of the business. Maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring regulatory compliance (FLSA, OSHA, ADA), and directing supervisory management are crucial. The Operations Manager acts as a liaison between various stakeholders and maintains contract and contractor databases. They will review and respond to correspondence concerning contractors, establish and maintain contact with contractors, and conduct/attend meetings to ensure consistent communication. Assisting with human resource concerns is also part of the role. Some travel is required.
