About The Position

MMT is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our West Palm Beach facility. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence across Assembly and Machine Shop operations. MMT designs and manufactures innovative automation systems, machine design solutions, material handling equipment, and custom tooling that help customers solve complex manufacturing challenges. Leaders at MMT play a critical role in shaping the future of the business, with opportunities to influence operations strategy, develop talent, improve processes, and make a measurable impact on business performance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a technical manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading manufacturing teams
  • Proven success improving productivity, quality, operational efficiency, and cost performance
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Experience managing KPIs and driving operational results
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, or a related field
  • Experience managing both assembly and machining operations
  • Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma experience
  • Knowledge of ISO quality systems and manufacturing process controls
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Assembly and Machine Shop operations
  • Drive safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity performance
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that support growth and profitability
  • Lead production planning and execution to meet customer commitments
  • Coach, develop, and mentor manufacturing supervisors and production teams
  • Drive accountability through KPI management, visual controls, and daily operating reviews
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with Engineering to improve manufacturability, throughput, and product quality
  • Support workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and employee development
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Participate as a key member of the site leadership team
