About The Position

Holladay Ventures is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Operations Manager to ensure the smooth operation of its growing organization and the communities and programs it supports. The company focuses on developing workforce, affordable, and mixed-income housing to create long-term positive outcomes. As a small, entrepreneurial team, the Operations Manager will work across the organization, solving problems, improving processes, supporting people and residents, and translating leadership priorities into action. A significant part of the role involves supporting Affordable Development Mastery (ADM), a 12-month mentorship and mastermind program for real estate investors becoming affordable housing developers. The ideal candidate is someone who identifies needs, creates order from complexity, and is a reliable point person for keeping things moving.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of Affordable Development Mastery, serving as the primary operational point of contact for ADM members and ensuring an exceptional member experience.
  • Manage member questions, enrollment, scheduling, billing, and invoicing for ADM.
  • Answer foundational questions about affordable housing development, terminology, and ADM program structure, connecting members with coaches for advanced inquiries.
  • Assist ADM members in navigating program resources, recordings, and frameworks.
  • Coordinate with the coaching team while managing the business and operational aspects of the ADM program.
  • Monitor recurring questions, confusion points, and community concerns within ADM, providing insights to leadership.
  • Support the hiring and onboarding of new ADM team members and the onboarding of new program members.
  • Serve as a key connector across the organization, helping to translate priorities into action.
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure alignment on company goals, policies, and initiatives.
  • Support day-to-day HR administration in partnership with an external HR team, including job descriptions, handbook administration, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Organize training and strengthen employee onboarding and continuous learning.
  • Help foster company culture through events, off-sites, all-hands meetings, employee appreciation, and team activities.
  • Support the Accounting Manager with AP/AR and budgeting activities.
  • Assist in maintaining legal entities and required filings.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate technology needs as they arise.
  • Partner with the Director of Operations on resident empowerment, community engagement, retention, and satisfaction initiatives.
  • Provide oversight and coordination with third-party property management.
  • Help resolve resident concerns and identify opportunities to improve the resident experience.
  • Build feedback loops to help leadership understand resident needs and inform future programming and design.
