Responsibilities: Assesses the quality of services delivered and coordinates services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient services when necessary.Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • May need to work odd shifts and long hours.
  • May need to provide weekend and/or holiday coverage.
  • Three (3) years of experience working in healthcare.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, or related field of study.
  • Master's preferred.
