About The Position

The Operations Manager at Target’s regional distribution center leads teams and supports the fast, safe, and efficient movement of products. The role focuses on safety, leadership, operational excellence, self-motivation, problem-solving, and teamwork. The manager fosters a safety-first culture through awareness, training, and accountability, and creates an inclusive, positive work environment through observation and constructive, actionable feedback.

The position is responsible for executing operational plans, achieving performance and budget goals, and keeping teams informed and coordinated across functions. It includes opportunities to develop and optimize processes, test approaches to solve problems and improve efficiency, and help teams meet business goals. Job duties may change at any time based on business needs.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, including the ability to engage and motivate others.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Good reasoning, conflict-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including mezzanine platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures, perform updates, and operate systems and other Distribution Center programs, including traversing conveyor crossovers.
