About The Position

Pretium Packaging is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide exceptional leadership at their facility in Manchester, Pennsylvania. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will have the autonomy to improve processes, develop people, and drive measurable performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The Operations Manager will share responsibility for the overall performance of the plant, including safety, productivity, quality, financial performance, and team leadership. This role offers meaningful influence, helping to shape how the plant runs today and how it performs tomorrow. The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, confident in making data-driven decisions, and comfortable being visible on the plant floor.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
• Experience improving productivity, cost performance, and operational metrics
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems

Nice To Haves

• Experience with injection molding and packaging is preferred
• Bilingual candidates; the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the plant leadership team and frontline supervisors
• Drive production performance to meet customer demand and shipping commitments
• Improve productivity and efficiency through Lean manufacturing principles
• Increase OEE through effective monitoring of equipment and labor utilization
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO, GMP, and applicable state and federal regulations
• Help analyze production costs and implement improvements to enhance profitability
• Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades and capital investments
• Partner cross-functionally to support new product launches and process improvements
