About The Position

Southeastern Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (SCADD) is seeking an experienced and operationally driven Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day non-clinical operations of their Lebanon Pines treatment campus. This role involves working closely with clinical and program leadership to create a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment for clients and staff. The Operations Manager will serve as a senior leader at Lebanon Pines, overseeing facility operations, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across all shifts. They will be a visible, hands-on presence on campus, partnering with clinical and program leadership to ensure that every aspect of the environment supports quality client care and organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, healthcare, or a related setting with knowledge of facility operations
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience with demonstrated coaching, communication, and team development skills; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Valid Driver's License with the ability to drive a company vehicle required
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Experience enforcing policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements consistently
  • Proficiency in digital documentation systems, electronic scheduling tools, and operational data reporting
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day non-clinical operations of the Lebanon Pines residential treatment facility; maintain cross-shift visibility to promote a collaborative, supportive environment and strong operational oversight across all shifts
  • Ensure facility readiness, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining a safe and structured therapeutic environment at all times
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and accreditation standards, including those related to substance use treatment, OSHA, fire safety, and workplace safety requirements
  • Manage staffing coverage, scheduling, campus operations, and staff performance to maintain safe supervision standards and operational excellence
  • Monitor documentation, incident reporting, supervision logs, daily checks, and operational processes to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement through quality initiatives, audits, and implementation of policies and best practices
  • Maintain oversight of campus inventory, including client necessities, housekeeping products, and operational supplies to prevent resource deficits
  • Oversee facility transportation protocols, ensuring reliable and audited scheduling for client appointments, admissions, and discharges
  • Review operational metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Collaborate with program leaders to improve client experience and facility performance
  • Serve as operational lead during emergencies, facility events, and significant organizational projects
  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate Recovery Technician Coordinators and direct support staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and trauma-informed care
  • Oversee structured onboarding and ongoing professional development for all Recovery Technician staff to build a strong, engaged team and promote retention
  • Consistently enforce policies, code of conduct, and professional boundary standards
  • Oversee staffing schedules to manage overtime and ensure safe client-to-staff ratios
