About The Position
The Operations Manager at Target’s Regional Distribution Center in Fontana, California leads teams and supports distribution operations focused on getting products to guests quickly. The Operations Manager is responsible for helping teams maximize productivity, growth, and development; executing operational plans; achieving performance and budget goals; and keeping teams informed and coordinated across functions. The role also supports process and method innovation, efficiency improvements, future process-flow optimization, root-cause analysis, and testing approaches to address problems. Core job duties may change based on business needs.
Requirements
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, including the ability to engage and motivate others.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Good reasoning, conflict-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including mezzanine platforms and conveyor crossovers.
- Ability to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures and perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Distribution Center.
