The manager must ensure all locations operate during their scheduled times, conducting regular facility inspections to uphold operating procedures, corporate policies, and rules. These inspections will focus on customer service, cleanliness, attendant appearance, revenue control, and safety, with any safety hazards reported directly to the Area Manager and client. The role also involves enforcing revenue control procedures, including ticket control, equipment reports, validation stamps, and accurate cash deposit maintenance. The Operations Manager will be involved in interviewing and screening candidates, supervising daily activities of onsite employees, and overseeing their training, including developing initial and remedial training programs. They will also review and distribute disciplinary actions, foster professional relationships with employees, customers, and clients, and resolve operational issues and complaints. Reconciling parking tickets and cashier reports, acting as a liaison between management, clients, and executive staff, and ensuring the safe handling and timely deposit of cash are also critical duties. The manager will delegate priorities for non-routine assignments, perform necessary minor repairs to parking equipment, develop plans to enhance customer service, update operating manuals, and identify/recommend solutions for operational problems. Recommendations for upgrading facility appearance and cleanliness will be made, and the manager must be available to respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours. Implementing Quality Control Measures to ensure contract compliance is also a responsibility.
