About The Position

Block by Block is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee one of their newest Ambassador Transit Programs. This role requires advanced client relationship management skills to manage daily operations and deliver continual program improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong managerial skills, a great work ethic, experience supervising a team, and a passion for creating a great client, rider, and employee experience. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the community by creating a welcoming atmosphere through great service and safety.

Requirements

5-7 years of experience in facilities operations management, hospitality/tourism management, event management, public transit, or public spaces administration.
Supervised a team of people.
Strong work history with at least 5-7 years of experience.
High School Diploma Required.
Minimum of 5 years Management Experience.
Expert Customer Service Skills.
Expert Judgement.
Excellent Communication Skills.
Expert level technology and computer skills.
Strong background with proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.

College or Extended Education preferred.

Responsibilities

Hiring and training a positive, skilled, and dependable team.
Adjusting the deployment of resources to match changing needs.
Identifying and solving problems to improve program quality.
Procuring and managing inventory of supplies and equipment.
Reporting outcomes through various channels (spreadsheets, Kronos Timekeeping, Budgets).
Hands-on working management in the field to provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous training.
