As Operations Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and work closely with the General Manager to ensure the property runs efficiently and successfully.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with labor management, cost controls, and inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of brand standards and operational procedures.
  • A hands-on leader who enjoys supporting and developing team members.
  • Passionate about hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Skilled at building positive relationships with associates, leadership teams, ownership groups, and guests.

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel operations or supervisory experience, preferably with a major hotel brand such as Marriott International.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily hotel operations to ensure outstanding guest service and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor performance, labor productivity, and expenses while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Support the achievement of financial and operational goals.
  • Train, coach, and mentor associates on brand standards, service excellence, and operational procedures.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability, growth, and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with scheduling, performance management, and staff development.
  • Ensure guests receive friendly, responsive, and memorable service throughout their stay.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain quality standards across all departments.
  • Ensure compliance with brand requirements, company policies, and operational procedures.
  • Help implement new initiatives, programs, and best practices to improve hotel performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Support adherence to safety, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, Revenue Management, Human Resources, and Accounting teams to achieve property goals.
  • Promote effective communication and teamwork across all areas of the hotel.
