About The Position

Flex is seeking an Operations Manager in Austin, Texas, to provide daily supervision of staff, projects, and resources. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role is responsible for the end-to-end development of assigned personnel and/or operations projects. The position supports manufacturing operations on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.

The Operations Manager leads front-end and back-end manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, and delivery goals. The role monitors operational KPIs, drives corrective actions and continuous improvement, develops supervisors and production personnel, and works with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. It also ensures compliance with safety, ISO, and company operational standards and supports customer visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 7 years of manufacturing, production, or operations leadership experience.
• Previous experience leading supervisors and hourly manufacturing teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, workforce planning, and production management.
• Experience driving process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ability to analyze operational data and make informed business decisions.
• Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and standard business systems.

Responsibilities
