About The Position

Flex is seeking an Operations Manager in Austin, Texas, to provide daily supervision of staff, projects, and resources. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, this role is responsible for the end-to-end development of assigned personnel and/or Operations projects. The position works second shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Operations Manager leads manufacturing activities and teams to meet production, quality, and delivery goals, while supporting continuous improvement, operational compliance, and business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of manufacturing, production, or operations leadership experience.
• Previous experience leading supervisors and hourly manufacturing teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, workforce planning, and production management.
• Experience driving process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ability to analyze operational data and make informed business decisions.
• Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and standard business systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and back-end manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery goals.
• Monitor operational KPIs and drive corrective actions to improve performance.
• Coach, develop, and support supervisors and production personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Partner with engineering, quality, supply chain, and other functional teams to support business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, ISO, and company operational standards.
• Support customer visits and provide operational leadership for manufacturing activities on second shift.
• Provide daily supervision to staff, projects, and/or resources.
• Ensure complete end-to-end development of assigned personnel and/or Operations projects.
