About The Position

This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the Smithfield operational site, ensuring efficient performance across production, warehousing and dispatch. You will drive operational excellence across output, delivery (DIFOT), cost, quality and safety, while building a strong, customer-focused team culture.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain environments
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in operational settings
• Strong experience driving KPIs such as DIFOT, safety, cost and quality
• Experience in production planning, inventory and warehouse management
• Ability to lead change, improve processes and influence stakeholders
• Strong systems experience (ERP/CRM such as Sage preferred)

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related field
• Experience in a multi-product manufacturing environment
• Continuous improvement mindset (Lean / Kaizen exposure)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production, warehouse and dispatch operations across multiple business units
• Drive performance across DIFOT, cost control, quality and safety targets
• Implement process improvements, scheduling and resource planning initiatives
• Lead inventory optimisation and supply chain efficiency
• Manage team performance, development and workforce planning
• Partner with Sales and Customer Service to enhance customer experience
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and capital projects
