About The Position
The Operations Manager (Non-Complex) role at Walmart focuses on leading and developing store associates to ensure compliance with company policies, drive financial performance, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.

- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
Responsibilities
- Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance, overseeing safety and operational reviews, and developing action plans.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, listening, assigning duties, evaluating performance, and providing recognition.
- Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards.
- Assists the store manager in driving the financial performance of the facility by ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved, controlling expenses, and developing plans to correct deficiencies.
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting plans and initiatives, identifying and communicating goals, building accountability, and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
