Stateside Brands is a rapidly growing spirits company dedicated to crafting premium-quality beverages– Surfside Iced Teas and Lemonades, Stateside Vodka, and Stateside Vodka Sodas. Stateside is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in regards to warehouse and distribution operations, overseeing vehicle maintenance and driver files, and managing warehouse inventory and organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a warehouse compliance or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with inventory management systems preferred.
- Military experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance of vehicle and driver files to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are up to date on relevant compliance standards.
- Conduct spot audits of vehicles to confirm compliance with pre-trip inspection requirements.
- Work on continuous improvement and ergonomic initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and safety.
- Manage warehouse inventory and overall organization of day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to compliance and warehouse operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and external auditors.
- Stay informed about changes to regulations and standards that may impact operations.
- Train and mentor warehouse/distribution staff on compliance and safety procedures.
