About The Position

NPW is seeking a highly organized, driven, and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. By fostering effective communication and collaboration with key departments, the Operations Manager contributes to the overall success of warehouse operations and organizational objectives. NPW is a leading independent automotive aftermarket parts distributor with over 500 employees, 50 company owner locations in 14 states that include both stores and warehouses. Founded in 1969, NPW has grown significantly through the successful completion of 30 acquisitions and organic endeavors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years management experience in a high-volume distribution facility.
• Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Ability to sit, stand and/or walk the duration of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb ladders/steps.
• Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.
• May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive aftermarket experience in a distribution facility is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payables and accounts receivables.
• Perform other office duties as assigned.
• Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of current procedures.
• Develop and implement operational policies and programs.
• Establish benchmarks for locations.
• Motivate and lead a team.
• Oversee and support the local team.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
• Respond to customer complaints and comments in a professional manner.
• Understand sales/financial trends and adjust operations accordingly.
