About The Position

Factor, a brand of HelloFresh, is seeking an Operations Manager, Warehouse to support their Aurora, IL location. This role will oversee strategic operations within receiving, shipping, storage/distribution of goods, and logistics. The Operations Manager will direct activities and provide coaching to associates, leads, and supervisors, working alongside the team to ensure maximum productivity. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety, GMP, and SQF policies/procedures, as well as PPE/hygiene policies. The role is expected to cultivate a culture in line with HelloFresh's core values, ensure a high level of internal and external customer service, and investigate and correct customer issues. The Operations Manager will manage the department engaged in essential warehouse functions to ensure high productivity and technical integrity, perform internal audits, and coordinate objectives with production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. They will also create and implement processes and procedures, relay quality philosophy to all warehouse personnel, and maintain an active role on internal continuous improvement teams. Additionally, this role involves designing, developing, and implementing warehousing training programs, interacting with procurement to ensure adequate inventory supply, addressing nonconformities from audits, conducting management reviews, and following up on corrective actions. The Operations Manager will ensure documentation and design controls are appropriate and assist the management team by providing necessary tools, training, and corrective direction to all employees.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or related management work experience.
  • At least 5 -7 years of work experience in warehouse management, should be combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments as a manager, and with satisfying customers in technology-driven, developing companies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategic operations within the functional areas of receiving, shipping, storage / distribution of goods, and logistics.
  • Direct activities and provide coaching and guidance to associates, leads, and supervisors.
  • Work alongside and with the team, providing guidance as needed to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Work with senior Management to complete the given directives of the Company.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures, as well as adherence to PPE/hygiene policies.
  • Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service.
  • Investigate (and correct) customer issues and complaints.
  • Manages the department engaged in essential warehouse functions (receiving, shipping, and distribution) to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.
  • Performing internal audits.
  • Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.

  • Following-up on and closing pending preventive and corrective action requests.
  • Ensuring that documentation and design controls are appropriate for organization.
  • Assisting the management team and provide support as necessary.
  • Provide all employees with necessary tools, proper training and corrective direction.
