About The Position

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a driven Operations Manager to lead critical MAKE and supply chain flow operations across two shifts in Bridgewater, MA. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Proven track record n manufacturing, operations, or supply chain
  • Experience leading teams in a multi-shift, fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional leadership skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medical device or regulated industries
  • Background in both manufacturing and distribution operations
  • Lean / Six Sigma or process excellence experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead two-shift operations across inbound receiving, warehousing, non-sterile packaging, post-sterile release, and outbound flow in a complex, multi-platform environment
  • Own end-to-end product flow ensuring on-time delivery to U.S. and OUS distribution centers and international sites
  • Serve as a critical supplier to Raynham Manufacturing, ensuring on time delivery of materials to support a 24/5 production operation
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Receiving Inspection, Manufacturing, Quality, and Distribution to eliminate bottlenecks and improve throughput
  • Lead and develop supervisors and frontline teams, building a culture of accountability, and ownership
  • Deliver results across safety, service, quality, cost, and people metrics in a fast-paced, constraint-driven environment
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities aligned with JJPS and 6S to improve flow, reduce lead time, and increase efficiency
