This position is responsible for driving and implementing the business plan for their area of responsibility to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, and safety, and to implement operational improvements. The role involves forecasting staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands. It also includes preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports to identify operational improvements. The Operations Manager will monitor and ensure compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures. They will resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or by consulting others. A key part of the role is supervising and managing associates and leaders by giving direction, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training and development needs, and providing opportunities for learning and growth. This includes teaching, supporting, and modeling Logistics and company policies and procedures, and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates, leaders, and managers. The role emphasizes respecting individuals by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and creating opportunities for all associates to thrive.
