About The Position

Parsons is looking for a sharp Operations Liason to join our growing team! Are you ready to put your LNO expertise to work on complex projects in support of an exciting mission focused on the Indo-Pacific region? The ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to work across multiple staff sections to self-task and guide J5 activities to combat drug-related transnational crime.

Requirements

  • Active DoD TS security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree, with additional years of experience able to count in lieu of a degree
  • 10+ years of experience, with additional education, training, and certifications able to count towards total years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and/or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) to support government decision-making at the strategic level
  • Ability to work independently while responding promptly to requests for information
  • Adaptability in a dynamic work environment; ability to manage changing priorities effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to proofread, edit, and finalize products for senior leader briefings and external organizations
  • Highly proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft Office tools, and data-sharing tools and databases (e.g Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) and Maven Smart System (MSS))
  • Valid US Passport
  • An active Top Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting USPACOM intelligence or operations
  • Previous experience supporting DoD, counter-drug, and law enforcement missions
  • Familiarity with Joint doctrine, campaign planning guidance, and interagency coordination processes

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated desk coverage and regional situational awareness of/to external partners as an Operations Liaison (LNO) (i.e. Task Force Representative (TFR)).
  • Assist operational planning teams, working groups, and integrated planning efforts across the task force; conduct cross-functional synchronization with J2/J3 teams to support U.S. law enforcement.
  • Assist with planning for Subject Matter Expert Exchanges (SMEE) and conferences; TDY to PACOM countries when necessary.
  • Capture lessons learned, analyze deficiencies and connect findings to learning events to improve operational outcomes.
  • Support development of planning workflows and dashboard capabilities, including AI-enabled workflow tools.
  • Prepare agendas and read-aheads to support planning events, capture decisions, and assign and track actions as required.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings to leadership, operational customers, and partner organizations as required.
