About The Position

This is a part-time Operations Intern position for Fall-Spring, located in Melbourne, Florida. The internship is expected to begin in August 2026 and will average approximately 8 hours per week, with flexibility based on business conditions and management approval. The intern will be responsible for defining and implementing a process improvement that directly ties to a FY27 Productivity item, culminating in a formal presentation to the senior leadership team at the end of the assignment. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, requirements of this position include being eligible to work with export-controlled products and related data without restriction. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, driven, takes initiative, embraces challenges, and is eager to learn and grow within the business.

Requirements

Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Current junior or senior status.
Excellent MS Office skills.
Eligible to work with export-controlled products and related data without restriction.

Responsibilities

Work in the Operations Department, assigned to the Plant Manager or their designate for day-to-day direction and project assignment.
Define and implement a process improvement that directly ties to a FY27 Productivity item.
