About The Position
The Operations Engineer Staff (Level 4) for the Operations Engineering team is responsible for advancing producibility, quality, and continuous improvement across LM Aero. This role involves leading cross-functional projects that define, mine, and improve key processes, managing schedules, guiding teams, and delivering briefings to leadership.
Requirements
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives through the full project planning and execution lifecycle
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA)
- Experience applying lean principles to manufacturing operations with demonstrated performance improvement
- Experience leading cross-functional collaborative efforts
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on process definition, mining, and improvement.
- Generate and coordinate project schedules with stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
- Guide project teams to identify solutions, implement changes, and drive initiatives to closure.
- Brief project status and results to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Coach and facilitate continuous-improvement events, applying Lean Six Sigma principles to sustain change.
