About The Position

The Industrial Engineer Staff (level 4) role will support production operations of the F-16 fighter aircraft. The individual will analyze sequence of operations, workflow, analytics, capacity measurement, and manpower planning to improve efficiencies at Greenville Site Operations. This individual will be relied on to be an expert for more junior IEs in the production operation.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college
  • Project/Program Management Experience
  • Experience giving formal presentations
  • Aerospace Production Experience
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience managing production cost and schedule
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering, data analytics, math, or science discipline
  • Experience with Precedent Diagrams

  • Experience developing resource capacity and manpower plans
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Systems Evaluation: Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts time studies and performs data analysis of the build process, production performance, cost control and reduction, and improvement opportunities using Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and other analysis tools.
  • On the basis of these studies, monitors the development and implementation of changes to schedule, cost, manpower, and workflow.
  • Develops detailed work plans in collaboration with Operations Leadership team, using Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, OneNote, and Project.
  • Establishes methods for maximum utilization of personnel.
  • Facilitates continuous improvement activities and other projects as required.
  • Lead projects to improve production processes and internal IE processes as required.
  • Mentor other factory IEs
