This role involves managing an Amazon-developed project management application tool that tracks end-to-end activities from pre-installation through ramp-up. The focus is on maintaining and optimizing existing programs within the application tool while integrating new automation technologies. The position requires demonstrating the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements, breaking them down into actionable steps, and proposing optimal solutions. Regular meetings with internal stakeholders and external vendors are expected to ensure new features released by the software development team have the desired impact and are designed with user/customer feedback in mind. The role includes leading daily scrum meetings and weekly sprint planning sessions to monitor progress, address blockers, and ensure timely delivery. New feature releases will be broadcasted to the user/customer/stakeholder base, with necessary training provided to ensure effective use of the application tool and to maintain high user engagement. As part of the product/technology deployment cycle, the role is responsible for the successful delivery of Alpha and production units for testing and evaluation within the fulfillment network. Collaboration with talented engineers in the design, development, and delivery of new technologies and advanced automated systems globally is a key aspect. The role also involves helping to integrate systems for safety, security, stability, and efficiency, and participating in the full system development life cycle within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and solution quality needs.
